A METHODIST chapel is calling on residents to help it build for the future with a survey asking them about what they would like to see in the church.
Bedale Methodist church in Wycar dates back to 1847 and plays an important role in the town as a communal meeting place.
The church committee is looking at developing the facilities in the church and, working with Hambleton Community Action, has organised a survey to find out what people think.
A spokesman said:” The Church Committee is currently exploring the possibility of refurbishing elements of the main building and the ancillary hall to improve the facilities which, hopefully, might lead to extending the range of activities that could be offered from the building.”
