CLEVELAND Philharmonic Choir and the senior choir from Egglescliffe School will perform Verdi's Requiem at Sage, Gateshead, on Saturday, November 12.
The mix of young and mature voices will form a 150-strong choir to sing alongside four professional opera singers with accompaniment by the Mowbray Orchestra. The conductor is choral director John Forsyth.
The concert, which starts at 7.30pm, marks a return to the Sage for the Cleveland choir following an acclaimed debut
there in 2014.
Verdi's Requiem is one of the most popular and exciting works in the classical repertoire.
