DARLINGTON Borough Council will hold a special meeting to discuss its financial future tomorrow (Thursday, February 11).
Members of the public can attend tomorrow’s cabinet meeting, taking place at the Dolphin Centre from 5pm.
The event will see members of the cabinet address issues related to unprecedented financial challenges set to significantly affect Darlington.
Reports relating to housing revenue, treasury management and the council’s Medium Term Financial Plan will be discussed by councillors during the meeting.
Unison has organised a lobby of the council in relation to proposed cuts.
Their demonstration will see protestors gather outside of the town hall at 4pm before moving onto the Dolphin Centre.
