ONE of Yorkshire’s leading renewable companies has chosen Northallerton for its headquarters.
The Smart Energy Company has bought Thurston House on Thornfield Business Park, off Standard Way, to accommodate its expansion from Solar PV into Biomass boilers and other renewable technologies.
The company has installed renewable technology throughout Yorkshire and the North-East for both domestic and large commercial customers on schools, farms and factories.
It moved to its new premises to expand to meet the growing demand.Itis currently recruiting administrators, telesales staff, salespeople and installation staff.
The company currently employs around 30 and with the expansion into biomass boilers for commercial and domestic customers, expects to double that in the next 18 months to make it one of the largest renewable companies in the North-East.
