INSPIRED Pet Nutrition – the UK’s largest independent producer of dry pet food and based at Dalton near Thirsk – has strengthened its commercial team with three new national account appointments.
All the new arrivals – Tom Keighley, Rob Scrimger and Josh Underwood – were previously at Asda and have more than 20 years experience gained both in-store and in national buying roles.
Mr Keighley was at Asda for 5 years as a merchandising analyst and a buying manager – in his new post he will be IPN’s national account manager for Morrison’s, the Co-Op and Bookers.
Mr Scrimger spent nine years in-store and was latterly a buying assistant. In his new post as a national account executive, he will be work across multiple accounts and project manage NPD.
Mr Underwood – who has joined as a junior national account manager – has more than five years buying experience and will focus on further developing IPN’s business with Asda.
Tom Page, sales and marketing director at IPN, said: "These new arrivals bring with them a wealth of top quality retail and account management skills. They will play key roles as we look to increase both our branded and own label sales with the leading multiples."
