A TAX specialist with 26 years experience has joined Clive Owen LLP as a partner advising on corporate tax matters and personal tax for high net worth individuals.

Rosemary Anderson originally came to the north to study music at Leeds University but always harboured a desire to be an accountant, initially training in audit with KPMG and then working in practice before going into industry.

She returned to practice to become a qualified tax adviser and partner and will cover the region from Clive Owen's York office.

She lives in North Yorkshire and has maintained her love of music, combining her professional life with playing the bassoon to concerto standard for an amateur orchestra and volunteering as a freelance church bell ringer.

Tony Luckett, managing partner at the Darlington office, said: "We are delighted to have Rosemary on board to add to our already strong tax services offering. We now have 14 members of our 100-strong team working in the tax arena because we recognise that it is a critical area of interest for clients."
