DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ELSTOB LANE, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2019

Darlington Borough Council Intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

ELSTOB LANE

From the north side of the junction with the C46 Elstob Lane to Bishopton road northwards to the south side of the C34a Great Stainton to Bishopton road

An alternative route will be signed via C46 Elstob Lane to Bishopton road, C34a Great Stainton to Bishopton road and vice versa. Access to Great Stainton from the north only. Access for residents only on Elstob Lane.

The Order is necessary to allow carriageway resurfacing works.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 17th June 2019, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
