Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

It is anticipated that only one road will be closed at a time, as required to allow surfacing works to take place, for durations of approximately 2 days.

Lay-by off A67 between Merrybent & High Coniscliffe will be closed for the duration of all the surfacing works to allow material storage

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 20th May 2019.
