DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL NEWTON LANE, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2019

Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close: NEWTON LANE

From the north side of Jedburgh Drive junction northwards to the south side of Road Leading to Archdeacon Newton

An alternative route will be signed via Cockerton Green, Woodland Road, Staindrop Road, Walworth Road, Road through Walworth and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow works on behalf of Northern Powergrid.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 20th May 2019, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks. Dated: 2nd May 2019 I Williams
