The above named Order, made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, was confirmed on the 30th August 2018 without modification. The effect of the Order is to create the public bridleways and footpath at Archdeacon Newton and High Coniscliffe, Darlington described in the Schedule below and as shown on the Order Map. Please see below for details as to how to view the Order; the date it comes into effect and how to make application to the High Court if aggrieved by it.

parish boundary going west along the former Barnard Castle trackbed to Point G, NZ 24410 16412. Then turning south east and terminating at Point H, NZ 24514 16304 on Staindrop Road.

EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2018
The above named Order, made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, was confirmed on the 30th August 2018 without modification. The effect of the Order is to extinguish the public bridleway at Archdeacon Newton, Darlington described in the Schedule below and as shown on the Order Map.

going south west through the farm to

Both of the above mentioned Orders come into effect on the 13th September 2018. Copies of the Orders and the Order Maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Darlington Borough Council, 17 Allington Way, Darlington DL1 4QB from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of 50p. If a person aggrieved by either Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that the requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of that order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of the purposes within six weeks from the date of this Notice.
