DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL A6072 SHILDON ROAD, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2018
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the
provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984, as amended and pursuant to arrangements
made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act
1972 with Durham County Council, the effect of which will
be to close:
A6072 SHILDON ROAD/MAIN ROAD/REDWORTH ROAD
From Heighington Bypass roundabout north westwards
to the roundabout adjacent
Future Business Park
Access to Redworth Village from the south only.
An alternative route will be signed via A68, A688,
A6072 and vice versa.
The Order is necessary to allow road surfacing works.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this
Order is 18 months commencing from 21st May 2018, it is
anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
