The Scottish Borders Council (B712 Drumelzier) (Temporary Closing) Order 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 5 February 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 9 February 2018. The road will be closed for one day only during that period, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. The Order is required for carriageway works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B712 at Drumelzier.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B712, A701, A72 and B712 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
