ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (GRINDSBROOK ROAD, RADCLD7FE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enahling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Grindsbrook Road, Radcliffe - From its junction with Bury and Bolton Road for a distance of 50 metres in a south-westerly direction.

The reason for the proposed order is for contractors to carry out utility water works. The alternative route will be via Bury and Bolton Road and Higher Ainsworth Road. The proposed Order will come into operation on Saturday 21 October 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 3 weeks.
