Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Noticeisherebygiven thattheWiltshireCouncil hasmade an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Bridleway 55 (part), Langley Burrell; from the base of the ramps at Langley crossing bridge for a distance of approximately 130m to enable Hochtief Construction to raise the parapets on the bridge as part of the railway electrification project. Alternative route via The Common -Maud Heath's Causeway-Peckingell and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 7 August 2017 will now continue in force until 6 February 2018 or upon completion of the work, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated that the work will take up to six months to complete. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wilts (Restricted Roads) (No.3) Order 1964 for administrative purposes, revoke The County of Wiltshire B3105/B3109, Bradford Leigh, Bradford on Avon) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2002 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 1, revoke The County of Wiltshire (B3015 and B3107, Bradford on Avon, South Wraxall and Holt) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2013 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on B3105 - from a point 60 metres south east of its junction with B3109, Bradford on Avon to a point 204 metres north west of the access to property known as Woolley Park Farm; Woolley Street - From a point 21 metres north east of its junction with Grange View to its junction with the B3105 at Woolley Green. Copies of the draft Orders, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Bradford on Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford on Avon between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 29 August2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) B3098 Westbury Road (part), Edington; from its junction with Downsview for a distance of approximately 120m in a westerly direction to enable BT Openreach to access overhead structure. Alternative routes: HGVs
via B3098 (unaffected length) - C40 (Great Cheverell) -A360 - A361 - A350 - C184 Watergates - B3098
(unaffected length) and vice versa; all other traffic
via B3098 (unaffected length) -A360-A361 -A350- C184 Watergates - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 August 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 08.00 and 17.00. given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) C391 Bradford Road (part), Winsley; from its junction with Dane Rise to a point approximately 100m east of Tyning Road to enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement and connection work. Alternative route via C391 Bradford Road/Limpley Stoke Road (unaffected
length) - B3108 Winsley Bypass - C391 Winsley Road/
Bradford Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 10 April 2017 will now recommence on 7 August 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 1 September 2017. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are possible due to the nature ofthe works.
