DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

HARDWICK CLOSE/NIGHTINGALE AVENUE LINK FOOTPATH, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2017

Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

HARDWICK CLOSE/NIGHTINGALE AVENUE LINK FOOTPATH - ENTIRELY

An alternative route will be signed via Hardwick Close, Lyonette Road, Rockwell Avenue, Nightingale Avenue and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow works at the electric sub-station.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 20th February 2017, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
