DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH LINKING ST CUTHBEBTS WAY TO PABK PLACE WEST CAR PARK, DARLINGTON) EXTINGUISHMENT AND CREATION ORDER 2020
The above named Order was confirmed on the 16th December 2020 pursuant to section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to stop up the footpath linking St Cuthberts Way and Park Place West Car Park described in Part 1 of the Schedule below and replace it with the footpath described in Part 2 to enable development to be carried out in accordance with an application for planning permission made under Part III of the Act, namely Planning Application Reference 18/01111/FULforthe redevelopment of the current Fire Station to provide a new facility to accommodate Fire and Rescue Service and North East Ambulance Service NMS and provide car parking within the site. The change shall take effect from such date as Darlington Borough Council has certified that the replacement footpath as described in Part 2 of the Schedule has been constructed to the Council's satisfaction and is available for use. If a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that the requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may apply to the High Court for any of the purposes within six weeks from the date of this Notice.
