OVEREND January 29, peacefully in St. Teresa’s Hospice. Connie, (nee Pletts) ALCM, aged 84 years, devoted and much loved partner of Philip Biles, very loving mother of Michael, mother-in-law of Julie and a proud and loving nana of David, Philip and Jennifer. Funeral Tuesday, Febr-uary 7. Friends please meet 2.30 p.m. at Elm Ridge Methodist Church for Service of Thanks-giving for Connie’s life, which will follow a private family cremation. At Connie’s request no black attire is required and no flowers. Donat-ions may be made for Cancer Research UK. Connie will be warmly remembered as a well-known Darlington music teacher, highly regarded in South Durham musical circles as a teacher, accompanist and singer for many years before her retirement in 2006.
