STURDY Denis William Peacefully in hospital after a short illness on 19th September, aged 76, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband to Joan, treasured dad to Darren and Helen, proud grandad to Daniel and Emma and a loving brother. A friend to many, he will be terribly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Family and friends please come to say goodbye at St Andrew's Church, South Otterington, at 11.30am on Tuesday 12th October, followed by interment at St Barnabas Churchyard, Thornton-le-Moor. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu are welcome after the Service to Thornton-le-Moor Cricket Club and The Alzheimer's Society.
