HEBDON Verna (nee Hird) (Eccles, Scottish Borders, formerly of Swaledale) Peacefully, at Borders General Hospital, on 20th September 2021, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late John and a dearly loved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Funeral service at Borders Crematorium, Melrose. TD6 9HA, on Friday, 8th October, at 2pm, to which all friends are welcome. Family flowers only, donations, if desired to Dementia UK.
