EVANS David On July 15, peacefully aged 102 years, formerly of Sycamore Hall, Bainbridge and Dale Grove, Leyburn. Beloved husband of the late Violet and a dear father, father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad, great-great-grandad, brother and friend. Also a long serving member of Leyburn British Legion and a Dunkirk Veteran. A Private cremation service will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for David's Life at St Michael and All Angel's Church Spennithorne on Monday August 2, at 1.00pm. No flowers please, donations in memory of David will be shared between The Royal British Legion Leyburn Branch and Church Funds (plate in church) or may be sent c/o Sanderson & Co Funeral Directors, Leyburn Business Park, Harmby Road, Leyburn, N Yorks, DL8 5QA. Will friend please meet at the Church.
