WARRIOR John James, aged 89 years of Hunton. Died peacefully surrounded by his family on April 30. Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Sandra, Angela and Tony, adored grandad and great-grandad, a dear father-in-law and brother. A private service will be held at St Patricks Church Patrick Brompton, today Friday May 14, at 11.00am. The cortege will be passing through Hunton via the quoits pitch at 10.40am for those who want to show their respects. Donations in memory of John are in aid of Arthritis Research, may be sent to Keith Parlour Funeral Director, 28 Market Place Bedale DL8 1EQ.
