FENTON John, formerly of Brompton-on-Swale and Lanchester. Teacher at Richmond School 1974 -1991, died peacefully in hospital on December 30, aged 91 years. Beloved partner of the late Joan, much loved father of Judita, Jonathan and Carol, dear father-in-law to Andrea and Graham, loving grandad to William, Megan, Benedict, Fiona, Harvey, Aaron, Carys, Damien and Matthew and great-grandad to Laurence and Maya. Due to the current circumstances a family service will take place at The Wear Valley Crematorium Friday January 15. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for Abbeyfield, Barnard Castle may be sent in cheque form please c/o John Blenkiron & Sons, 19 Galgate, Barnard Castle. DL12 8EQ.
