HILLARY "Eddie" Edwin of Gilling West, died peacefully in the loving care of Maple Lodge Nursing Home on May 7, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Sheila, much loved dad to Mark and Shaun, dear father-in-law to Penny and Amanda, loving grandad to Adam, Hannah, Shannon and Abigail and brother and friend to many. Due to the current circumstances a small family service will be held at the graveside at St. Agatha's Church Gilling West, however if friends and neighbours wish to pay their respects to Eddie, the funeral cortege will pass through the village on Friday May 22, at approximately 1:00pm, just before the family service takes place. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Eddie will be shared between St. Agatha's Church, Gilling West and Maple Lodge Activities Fund these may be sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons, Funeral Directors, 21 Queens Road, Richmond.
