Dear Chris and family. I am shocked and saddened at this news. As you, Chris, will hopefully remember, Pam was a former co-worker of mine back in my very young years in the Royal Navy. She soon became a very dear friend, becoming my second mother, and I have very fond memories of coming over to your house and enjoying great company and Pam's fine cooking. Pam was also a terrific person to work with, as her larger-than-life personality made going to work an enjoyable experience. I can definitely see why you fell in love with her.

Pam was one of the handful of people from my past that spring to mind every so often, and it was one of those moments today that caused me to look her up. Tragically, I saw this. Take care, all of you. I have no doubt that you know that your wife and mother was one of those very rare and special people that make the rest of us look dull.

best wishes,,

Dear Chris and Family,
We can't tell you how saddened we were to learn yesterday (Friday 26 April) that Pam had passed away. We have been away for a few weeks and therefore would have attended Pam's funeral had we known the sad news.
Pam was the most delightful and lovely lady who we feel privileged to have known. We are so very sorry that she has passed away but know that all your lovely memories will help you cope with the loss of such a wonderful person. We have our own memories of Pam which we will cherish.
With much love to you all
Fiona and Les Morley
