ON Wednesday, the Cricket Society North East and Richmondshire Cricket Club are hosting an evening of cricketing nostalgia in collaboration with Yorkshire Film Archive.
Two famous cricketing faces filmed at the Scarborough festival in the 1930s
They are playing nearly 90 minutes of all kinds of cricketing films dating as far back as the 1930s, starring familiar names such as Herbert Sutcliffe and Len Sutton, and so not so familiar names, like the girls of Hunmanby Hall school. Plus, there will be some local footage.
The evening starts at 7.30pm. Admission is £2.
