MASTER Musicians at Stockton Arc starts the season with performances by renowned pianists Gulsin Onay and Bocheng Wang as well as classical guitarist, Giulio Tampalini, returning after his sell-out performance last year.

Onay, who performs on Tuesday, March 14, has an international career spanning 73 counties from Venezuela to Japan and holds the title of State Artist in her native Turkey. She will play works by Chopin, Liszt and Saygun.

Performing on Tuesday, April 4, is Mark Viner. The pianist won 1st Prize in the 2012 Alkan-Zimmerman Competition in Athens. He will be interpreting works by Alkan, Liszt and Godowsky.

Michael Newman, cellist with the Fitzroy Quartet, and Tyler Hay studied at the Kent Academy and Purcell School. They perform Debussy, Rachmaninoff and Ogden on Tuesday, May 9.

The youngest performer of the season is 20-year-old pianist Bocheng Wang, who has attended some of the leading music schools in the world including the Royal Academy of Music. He performs works by Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt on Tuesday, May 30.

Classical guitarist Giulio Tampalini has performed as a soloist and with some of Europe's leading national and international orchestras. He will close the season on Tuesday, June 20, playing works by Bach, Beethoven, Rossini and Tchaikovsky.
