Mike Poulton adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities will be staged in the Central Hall at the Dolphin Centre on Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20.

The production is by the Touring Consortium Theatre Company, which brought Of Mice And Men, A View From The Bridge and Brave New World to the Civic. The company is working in partnership with the theatre and is using about 30 local actors alongside a professional team led by director Eduard Lewis.

The venue is appropriate as it is where Charles Dickens gave a reading of A Christmas Carol in September 1858. Tickets cost £18 for adults, under-16s £10. Call the box office on 01325 486555 or visit www.darlingtoncivic.co.uk.
