ONE of Hans Christian Andersen’s most well-known and much loved tales, The Tin Soldier, will be brought to life at Stockton Arc.

Performances run from Wednesday December 9 until Christmas Eve.

The production by Peut-être Theatre is a family show with live music and dance and vibrant characters.

The story begins at Christmas as a newly minted tin soldier stands on a single leg, having been the last one cast from an old tin spoon.

He espies a paper ballerina, also standing on one leg, and falls in love. But the course of true love cannot run smooth and the soldier falls into an adventure to test and melt the bravest of hearts.
