A VILLAGE pub near Darlington embarks on a year of live music this weekend.
The Tuns at Sadberge held several such events last year which proved so popular that owner Ross Serino decided to hold them on the last Sunday of every month.
There will be bands and musicians from across the North-East offering blues, jazz, soul, pop and more, starting this Sunday with Phil Muriel.
Other dates are: May 24, Ian Smith; June 20, P A Woods; July 26, The Honey Buzzards; and September 27, Easy Street Blue.
Formerly called The Three Tuns, the pub was closed for several months amid fears it might not reopen.
In 2013, Mr Serino and his family completed a major renovation to restore the grade II-listed building it to its former glory. It is thought to date back to the 15th century.
