MORE family fun is in store when Blunderbus Theatre Company brings Hugless Douglas Live on Stage to Middlesbrough Town Hall later this month.
The lovable young brown bear wakes up one morning in need of a hug. He tries to find the perfect one, but none seems quite right. After all, there are so many different hugs to choose from.
Douglas soon discovers there's only one hug that will do – a big bear hug from his mum.
The show is for children aged three to seven with comedy and singalong songs and opportunities to join in. Adapted from David Melling's best-selling book it features original music, beautiful scenery and handcrafted puppets.
This will be Blunderbus Theatre Company's second visit to the town hall following sell-out performances of I've Seen Santa in December.
The show is performed on Saturday, February 21, at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Tickets cost £6 each, family £20. Call the town hall box office on 01642 729729 or go online at middlesbroughtownhallonline.co.uk
Hugless Douglas can also be seen at the Georgian Theatre Royal, in Richmond, on February 28; tickets from georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk or the box office on 01748 825252.
