NORTH East Rising, Rowan McCabe’s new show about regional identity, is staged at Stockton Arc on Thursday.
On a mission to find the true heart of the region’s culture, it combines poetry, theatre and stand-up comedy to dispel northern stereotypes and celebrate quirkier characters with comedian and actor Robbie Lee Hurst, Spoken Word artist Jessica Johnson and music by Alix Alixandra.
