THE Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle will provide the backdrop to Picnic Cinema’s screening of The Woman in Black on August 19.
Audience members are invited to camp overnight in the grounds or stay for the evening, though The Woman in Black (15) is a tale that sends shivers down the spine.
The outdoor cinema sets up in forests, castles and courtyards across England offering part-adventure, part-fancy dress party plus the chance to camp in unusual places. Its visit to the Bowes is part of a national tour. For more details, call the museum on 01833 690606.
