THE distinguished North York Moors landscape painter Peter Hicks has a new exhibition opening at the Zillah Bell Gallery in Thirsk tomorrow.
The title is Indulgences, which he explains as: “Things which intrigue, fascinate, challenge and beckon me to consider and reconsider.
“The Zillah Bell Gallery is the one where I feel happiest showing this varied type of work. Each room will be devoted to a separate indulgence that I return to from time to time – one after 55 years, another after only a brief association.”
The exhibition continues until July 26.
