THE one-day festival Stockton Calling will mark its fifth year with a line-up of more than 60 music acts performing on eight stages around the town including for the first time HM Bark Endeavour on the Riverside.

The event has steadily grown and after three consecutive sell-out years, organisers are hoping for similar success on Saturday, April 19.

Stockton band Young Rebel Set is the headline act at the Arc. Other performers there include the Little Comets, trio Darlia, Lake Poets and Teesside bluesy rockers The Purnells.

Britpop group Space headline the KU stage along with Superfood, Spring King, LSA and Sundara Karma plus talented Teesside acts like The Panoramic and Rambler.

The Georgian Theatre has Public Service Broadcasting, whose debut album was voted in many best of 2013 lists.

Shows will cover the full range of contemporary music by performers from throughout the North-East and further afield including Leeds-based Paul Thomas Saunders. HM Endeavour hosts eight acts, including Collectors Club.

Tickets cost £15 in advance. To book call 01642-525199 or 01642-674115 or at Arc or Green Dragon Studios or book online at stocktoncalling.co.uk,
