A NORTH Yorkshire audience is preparing to be spooked by a chilling one-man show, The Ghost Hunter, brought to the region as part of the Rural Arts ON Tour season. Tom Richards, of the Londonbased Theatre of the Damned, plays a character called Richard Barraclough who has a story to tell about a ragged school in old York and something terrible buried beneath the cobbles.
The Ghost Hunter is the fifth production by Theatre of the Damned, which won an award at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with As Ye Sow. It will be performed at Crayke Sport and Social Club on Friday, April 4, at 7pm, after pie and peas at 6pm. Ring 01347-824163 for tickets, £6, or buy online at ruralarts.org.
