THERE will be a Celebration Concert from Bach to Bernstein at St Nicholas’ Church, Guisborough, at 6.15pm on Saturday, April 5, with Sheffield Chamber Choir, directed by Robert Webb, singing sacred and secular music.

Entry is free but there will be a retiring collection in aid of Save the Children.

At the same venue on Tuesday, April 8 (7.30pm), there will be a concert of Scots Fiddle music by Alastair Savage, a member of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. He has broadcast as soloist on Radio 3 and Radio Scotland and as a composer his music has been used by BBC Alba. His visit to Guisborough is part of a ten-date tour in April.
