STAND-UP comedian Rich Hall will bring his Hoedown show to Yarm’s Princess Alexandra Auditorium
on June 8.
Graham Ramsay of promoters Ten Feet Tall, said: “This will be the first time he’s played in Yarm – something that makes it even more special to have in the diary.”
Hall's grouchy deadpan persona was the inspiration behind Matt Groening’s character Moe Szyslak in The Simpsons. TV credits include Live at the Apollo and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala.
Hoedown starts as a withering dissection of Trump’s America but ends in a celebration of Americana.
The comedian has had sell-out gigs at Middlesbrough and Stockton in recent years.
Other comedy gigs in Yarm include Suggs (February 16), Lloyd Cole (February 24), Steve Harley (March 30), Heather Small (April 11), Brian Blessed (April 2), Milton Jones (April 29) and Jason Donovan (May 12).
Rich Hall’s Hoedown starts at 8pm, age 18+. Tickets cost £17 at thepaaonline.org, 01642 792587 or arconline.co.uk.
