WALKERS and runners have the chance to take part in a promenade adventure at Hamsterley Forest next week.
Theatre company Burn The Curtain will present The Company of Wolves, based on stories by Angela Carter.
Audience members will join Red Riding Hood either as hunter or gatherer, fleet-of-foot or eagle-eyed, to pick up the pace or tread carefully.
There is the option of a two-three mile walk or four-five mile run. Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear and take a torch.
The Company of Wolves is performed on Wednesday, Thursday and next Friday, October 11 to 13, from 7pm. Tickets cost £18 for adults and £15 for under-18s. It is suitable for children aged eight and above accompanied by an adult.
