ARTS charity Rural Arts hosts an evening with three of Yorkshire’s brightest up-and-coming comedians – Tom Taylor, Maisie Adam and Rob Mulholland – at the Courthouse in Thirsk on Friday, July 7.

Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received praise from audiences and critics alike and has recently performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4. His brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure.

Maisie Adam is fresh face on the comedy circuit, but already her anecdotal material and self-deprecating Yorkshire charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country.

Rob Mulholland fell into comedy after finding a flyer looking for acts to perform on the ground outside his front door. He mixes cheeky audience banter with gag-packed stories, adding a touch of the absurd to observations of everyday life.

Rural Arts has championed emerging comics in the past including Michael Mcintyre and Roisin Conaty before they moved on to sell-out tours and TV appearances.

The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 at the door. Call 01845 526536 or book online at www.ruralarts.org.
