SOWERBY Music’s 300th anniversary concert takes place tomorrow marking 27 years of bringing first class performers to North Yorkshire.
The programme features Passacaglia Enlarged performing Glories of the Baroque with Faye Newton and Russell Gilmour comprising two cornerstones of the period – Bach’s 2nd Brandenburg Concerto and his Cantata Jauchzet Gott in alles Landen, plus works by Telemann and Handel.
The concert is at 7pm in St Oswald’s Church, Sowerby. Tickets are £16 available in Thirsk bookshops and online, or £17 at the door.
