WILD and Wonderful is the title of an exhibition which opens tomorrow with a preview at Grewelthorpe Village Hall.

Clare Lindley is a papercut artist who depicts the natural world in an graphic style creating quirky flights of fancy.

Emma Fountain’s pieces of needlefelt include faux taxidermy animal heads made using natural and dyed wool.

Sue Orrey-Godden works mostly in pastel to produce realist studies of animals and shimmering light and colour in landscapes.

Acrylic artist Sue Dewhurst paints townscapes, flowers and chickens with a naive quality revealing human interaction with the countryside.
