Headteacher disappointed with Ofsted results
Headteacher Susan Johnson said the school was “very disappointed” with the report but that she felt it was not an accurate overall reflection of Longfield.
It's sounding as though Ms Johnson is in denal about one or two things - this high-and-mighty and self-righteous attitude as to why Longfield is now the dumps.
Do tell us, Ms Johnson, what benefits and perks of the job are you sponging up from your current career? Do the pupils and parents of Longfield justice - let somebody who knows what they are doing take your place. You are failing the pupils and parents of Longfield Academy.

It is disgraceful that a private school can access government funding to keep it open. Money is being held back from state education to fund elitism. Will the staff who have been used to dealing with very privileged children be able to deal with children from a multitude of backgrounds ? - if they really are admitted. Is the school as good as the article in the Echo proclaimed? I don't think so.I don't think that the school is facing any kind of financial problems, they have just decided they want to follow their 'Quaker core values' of education for all - if anything it's opening up (possibly better) education for all; It is not funding elitism as their admission policy must be aligned to the national one. Not sure if everyone would agree that the children are all from privileged backgrounds though.
Have you read any documentation on it yet or are you just spouting off? I have read some of the information on the website as well as their glossy.
