DARLINGTON MOWDEN PARK have made seven changes to their starting line-up for tomorrow’s trip to Fylde in National One.

Alfie Barron and Ralph Appleby return to the front row in place of Adam Brocklebank and Jack Payne, and will play alongside Chris Wood, who continues after his impressive run of starts.

Dan Preston-Routledge returns to the second row, with Simon Uzokwe named in the back row, while Matt Dudman returns from injury at scrum-half.

Dudman will partner Warren Seals in the half-backs, with Shaun McCartney, Callum Mackenzie and Jack Blakeney-Edwards forming a new-look back three.

“It’s great to have Matt back in the squad after recovering from a hip injury,” said director of rugby Danny Brown. “We also welcome back Jack Blakeney-Edwards, who starts at full-back, and Dan Preston-Routledge, who has performed fantastically for the seconds.

“We’re happy to hand a start to Simon Uzokwe at seven, and Andrew Davidson returns to the squad after a few games for the Falcons.”

Darlington Mowden Park Sharks head to Gloucester-Hartpury looking to improve on their current position of eighth in the Tyrell’s Premier 15s table.
