WINGER Jake Henry, back from injury, will be the only member of Darlington Mowden Park's ex-Plymouth contingent to face his old team-mates today.

After successive games against the top three in National One this promises to be another tough home test for Mowden against a side unbeaten in ten matches.

Relegated from the Championship last season, Plymouth lost most of their players, including five to Mowden, who beat them 25-15 in the Devon rain in November to start their run of 12 wins.

Lock Tom Jubb was prominent in the first half of that run but broke an ankle and has since been released.

Chairman Mike Keeligan said: “He has signed for another club, but we have managed without him with Rob Conquest and Seb Ferreira playing well.

“One or two are bound to get picked up by higher clubs. When things are going well we have to accept that, but we are talking to the players about next season and we don't expect too many changes.

“Simon Uzokwe is attracting attention, but he has another couple of years at Sunderland University and we hope to hang on to him.”

Of the other ex-Plymouth men, prop Tom Harrison is being kept out by Ignas Darkintis and Ralph Appleby, who have shared tight head duties recently, while flanker Ali Bone and winger Peter Homan are still injured.

Henry's return sees Jamie Barnard switch to centre in place of Chris Auld. George Wacokecoke is retained on the other wing, while there are starting places for scrum half Bruno Bravo and flanker Callum Mackenzie after being on the bench last week.

Plymouth coach Graeme Dawe, the former England hooker, has built a young side which includes an 18-year-old prop in Ollie Dawe, who is no relation. The other prop, Christian Judge, played for England Counties last week.

Blaydon are again able to field a strong line-up at home to Coventry, although Will Witty has been suspended for three weeks following last Saturday's dismissal.

With three other dual-registered Falcons in the side in prop Andrew Foster, hooker David Nelson and winger Zach Kibirige, Witty's absence allows Blaydon to bring their contingent up to four by recalling centre Tom Penny.

He will play alongside former player-coach Tom Rock with Tom Bramwell on the wing as Frazer Wilson drops to the bench.

Andrew Archibald, who has impressed recently, reverts to lock to replace Witty with skipper Keith Laughlin returning to the back row.

With all matches reverting to 3pm kick-offs, Billingham entertain Birkenhead Park in Three North. They switch Danny Youdale to hooker and bring in James Watson at prop. Luke Wilson continues at fly half with Joe Evans at centre.

West Hartlepool have named centre Liam Checksfield on the bench for the North One East match at home to Morpeth and if he takes the field he will become their youngest player in league rugby.

Gavin Painter returns at fly half and Zac Southern at full back, and Dan Boatman continues at lock with Aaron Myers again available.

Durham and Northumberland One leaders Durham City visit Consett, hoping to avenge their only defeat of the season.

They lost the home match 15-10 in November and another slip-up could open the door for Middlesbrough, who can also expect a tough time in a home derby against improving Acklam.

Skipper Rob Bellerby returns and Matthew Todd is at fly half with Jack Bircham at full back. Chris Palmer is hooking with Ash Kearney at blind side and the Tremletts, Euan and Toby, paired in the second row.

After two successive away wins Ponteland have given themselves a chance of escaping relegation and now entertain Stockton, who beat them 20-16 at Grangefield in early November.

Powerful back row duo Joe Green and Martin Dixon are still missing for Stockton, so Charlie Doherty and Lewy Gray continue.

Jonny Horner and Steven Tampin trade places between full back and centre.
