TYNEDALE will again be without fly half Gavin Beasley for today’s National One match at Cinderford as he has been selected to develop and promote rugby in Brazil.

A Community Development Officer with Newcastle Falcons, Beasley is one of two Premiership Rugby representatives to make the trip.

With support from the British Council, the trip forms part of Premiership Rugby’s efforts to support Brazil in raising the sport’s profile ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the first in which rugby will feature.

Tynedale are also without captain Andy Buist for their trip to Cinderford, where 18-year-old Brett Connon will continue to deputise for Beasley.

Blaydon will hand a first start to French hooker Victor Guignouard at home to Coventry. A mature student, he went on from the bench last week and made a big impact through his physical presence.

Winger Joe Heslop also makes his debut at this level after Frazer Wilson suffered a recurrence of his long-standing knee problem in training.

Centre Tom Bramwell returns but flanker Harry Bate is rested to give him a chance to recover fully from a shoulder injury. His place goes to ex-Percy Park player Jack Davidson.

As usual, Coventry have signed a lot of new players and have won two of their first three games. They will be keen to avenge the home drubbing they suffered against Blaydon last year, when Zach Kibirige scored two tries.

He is back in light training after injury and Blaydon hope they might see something of him before Newcastle Falcons pitch him into first team duty.

Darlington Mowden Park undertake the first of their five trips to London and face a big test against Richmond, who have won their first three games.

Competition for back row places is growing, with Aaron Myers, Rory Duff and Liam Riley all featuring in a Development XV win against Durham University this week. Also on his way back after injury is winger Chris McTurk.

Billingham bring in Steve Smith at prop and Anth Rumis in the second row for the National Three North visit of Sandal, who are two places above them in fourth spot. Westoe need a win at home to Burnage after slipping into third bottom place.

Darren Thomas is West Hartlepool’s latest long-term injury victim after breaking his wrist in last week's win over Rochdale.

Zac Southern has recovered from injury and takes over the full back berth for the North One East match at Old Crossleyans.

Liam Bailey starts at centre and Ian Pinchen in the front row, while Sam Miller continues in the back row after coming on to help turn a

19-0 deficit into a 22-19 win last week.

Hooker Darren Hoare makes his first league start for Darlington at home to Sunderland, along with three colts - Max Hargrove and Ollie Pearse at half back and Jonathan Edes in the second row.

With Dom MacAlorum suffering from a virus and Joe Larder not fully fit Andrew Tonkin switches from wing to back row.

Conner Esler is on one wing after recovering from a broken arm and James Park is on the other, with Adam Gardner at centre alongside David Kilpatrick, who played for Durham Under 20s on Wednesday against Durham University.

Stockton will hope to continue their excellent start at home to Consett, who have not yet recaptured the form they showed at the end of last season.

Middlesbrough are without skipper Rob Bellerby for the visit of Malton and Norton in Yorkshire One, so Simon O’Farrell switches to centre with Matthew Todd at fly half.

Jack Bircham comes in at full back and Phil Harland at lock, with James Wardle dropping to the bench.
