ADAM MILNER put his Acklam’s Motorcycle Beta at the top of the results in the Hull Auto Club’s Embro Cup trial on Sunday at Low North Park, where the Scarborough club hosted the established trial.

The Leavening contender won the expert class from Staintondale’s James Carr and Whitby Beta competitor Jack Howell. The best ride on the hard course went to Kirkbymoorside teenager Dan Peace, who lost a mere two marks.

The result certainly shaded the efforts of the other 99 competitors.

The class winners were Colin Bailey, David Clarke and Scarborough youngster Zac Collinson.
