THE look-out on a raid did not see police approaching because he is
nearly blind, Hereford Crown Court was told. Police caught Robert Lowe,
who is registered partially sighted, and Philip Fletcher breaking into
the Hereford Lads Club. Both admitted attempted burglary. Fletcher, of
Newtown Road, was jailed for 28 days, and Lowe, of Belmont Road, both
Hereford, was ordered to carry out 120 hours' unpaid community work.
