CHRIS MOORE last night left Darlington to join his old club Whitley Bay on loan.

The winger signed for Martin Gray's side in the summer after previously representing Quakers in the Conference, famously losing his front teeth in the FA Trophy final victory over Mansfield Town in 2011.

After being released from Darlington by Mark Cooper after the final, Moore spent time with Gateshead, Barrow and Spennymoor before returning to Quakers, but Gray has allowed him to join Ian Chandler's Northern League side after a change of formation on the pitch found the flanker sidelined.

He has found himself out of the side in recent weeks with Gray opting for a formation that does not accomodate the winger, although he started the midweek loss in the Doodson Sports League Cup defeat to Ossett Town.
