Darlington striker Michael Smith is on trial at Premier League club Stoke City.
The 19-year-old has joined last season’s FA Cup finalists for a two-week period in which he is hoping to impress the Potters.
Smith is currently with Stoke’s development squad who are based for a few days in Bournemouth while the first team are at a training camp in Austria.
Smith is due to join in with first team training when Tony Pulis’ squad return to Staffordshire
The Newcastle-born forward is a product of Quakers youth section and has scored six goals in 36 appearances.
