This afternoon's Darlington match at Heritage Park with Lancaster City has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

After rain fell in the area yesterday and overnight, an inspection was held this morning and and with standing water on the surface the decision was made to postpone the fixture.

No date has yet been set for the rescheduled game.

It is the second match to be postponed at Heritage Park in recent weeks as Bishop Auckland also lost a game to the weather a fortnight ago against Newcastle Benfield.

And seven days ago Quakers' game with Clitheroe only got the go-ahead following an inspection, but there were still patches of standing water on the surface.
